Helping Africa

Last night was so incredible! Our junior highers and coaches all came together and we put together 1000 medical kits that will help caregivers take care of people in their villages with aids. One of our students, Austin Gutwein, started HOOPS OF HOPE a few years ago and they have built a school and now are building a medical center in Zambia. The video they showed us was so moving as these caregivers wash and give medicine to the sick and to know that each kit that we all got to put together would help someone so far away and bring them comfort was quite overwhelming. I was so proud of our students!!
